Border Reivers!

I'm about to make a start on a gaming project set in the period of the Border Reivers....small scale skirmish, maybe about 30 figures per side. I've picked up some excellent figures from Hoka Hey (https://www.timelineminiatures.co.uk/), together with some of their buildings...well let's be honest...all of their buildings...!!!

I will post some updates as and when I get the figures on the table (I am currently painting figures for a Darkest Africa project), but in the meantime I took the opportunity to do some research in the wilds of Northumberland with a visit to Black Middens Bastle House, an English Heritage site - see http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/visit/places/black-middens-bastle-house/ for further information.
